Goals Behind the Project

The objective of this project was to create a full-page poster and brochure for the Silver Mine Ski Jumping Invitational, showcasing event details in a visually compelling and cohesive way.

My Role and Responsibilities

I was responsible for designing both the event poster and brochure, ensuring a consistent and vintage-inspired visual identity.

Challenges and Solutions

Collaborating with classmates who acted as clients required balancing my creative vision with their feedback. Ultimately, I aligned the designs with their preferences to meet client expectations.

Process Overview

1. Inspiration and Planning:

   • Collected design inspiration and determined a vintage aesthetic for the materials.

   • Chose appropriate colors and fonts to support the desired style.

2. Poster Design:

   • Designed the poster in Adobe InDesign.

   • Incorporated peer feedback to refine the final design.

3. Brochure Design:

   • Created a brochure in Adobe InDesign that complemented the poster’s design.

   • Included all necessary event information for attendees.
