Goals Behind the Project

The objective of this project was to collaborate with a group to redesign a brand and create an advertising plan that effectively communicated the brand’s message, resonated with its target markets, and achieved the outlined campaign goals.


My Role and Responsibilities

As a member of the Promotional Plan Team, I held two key roles:

  1. Creative Member:

    • Developed the new brand logo and designed all marketing materials.

    • Contributed to creating engaging visual and multimedia content.

  2. Copywriting and Proofreading Member:

    • Wrote about the primary and secondary markets and edited content for the campaign, adding information where necessary.

    • Ensured clarity, accuracy, and consistency across all communication channels.

Additionally, I compiled and edited the final video presentation, ensuring it reflected our campaign’s key messages.


Challenges and Solutions

Working with a remote team required effective time management and communication to stay on track:

  • To overcome this, I completed my individual tasks promptly and sent reminders to the team, ensuring deadlines were met.


Process Overview

  1. Initial Research and Planning:

    • Chose a brand, researched its mission, target markets, and current positioning.

    • Outlined campaign goals and strategies.

  2. Brand Redesign:

    • Created a new logo to align with the updated brand identity.

  3. Media and Material Development:

    • Determined appropriate media channels for the campaign.

    • Designed marketing materials to support promotional efforts.

  4. Campaign Planning:

    • Developed a detailed budget and timeline for implementation.

    • Highlighted the potential benefits and outcomes of the campaign.

  5. Final Presentation:

    • Delivered a comprehensive video presentation summarizing the campaign.


Final Outputs and Results

  • Gained practical experience in designing and executing an advertising campaign.

  • Enhanced skills in group collaboration, time management, and creative development.

  • Produced a cohesive and professional campaign plan that achieved the project’s goals.
